I was introduced to the life insurance industry in 2015 through a guy I was dating. Within 6 months I left the job force and was focused solely on building my life insurance business. A couple years later, he and I got married. 

I came to faith in Christ in 2018 after years of searching through New Age beliefs, Eastern religions, and even identified as an atheist.

Shortly after getting married, I attended church as a way to strengthen our marriage. The church provided free Bibles and I decided after an Easter service to finally open up that Bible and read about the crucifixion.  As I thumbed through the Bible I landed on a page that happened to be dog-eared to the Book of John. In that moment, I knew Jesus was who He says He is—God. My faith grew quickly through Scripture, Bible studies, and daily devotionals. Shortly after, I became pregnant with twins and gave birth just before the COVID shutdown in 2020.

Eleven and a half months later, while on a trip to Hawaii, my husband tragically passed away in a flash flood. In the midst of shock and grief, I had two anchors: my faith in Jesus and the life insurance we had in place. Because we worked in financial services, we were properly protected. His policies provided immediate stability because rent was still due, life had to continue. His legacy ensured shelter, provision, and long-term security for our daughters and me.

Life insurance didn’t just cover a loss; it provided peace, options, and the ability to steward what he left behind wisely. I financially provided for orphans and widows in Uganda and helped to build an orphanage for them.

Through prayer and patience, God showed me how to move forward.  He guided me in raising my daughters and led me to Proverbs 31, which is a vision of what was possible for me as a woman, mother, and business owner.

I see clearly now that God used life insurance as a tool of His provision, but Jesus is the source of it all. Today, I’m a homeschooling mom serving families nationwide, sharing both financial wisdom and the hope of the Gospel.
