We're probably all familiar with traditional retirement plans like a 401k, Traditional IRAs, Roth IRAs, etc. We may also have basic or even advanced knowledge when it comes to life insurance. But, what is a life insurance retirement plan?
Glad you asked.
A life insurance retirement plan is best when you use leverage. Of course, you don't need to use leverage and you can still design an IUL to pay you tax free income for a lifetime, but if you need to catch up on your retirement or like the idea of leverage, then Kai-Zen may be a strategy you want to take a look into.
Here's the summary: You pay into your IUL for 5 years. Let's say you contribute $25,000 annually. A lender will contribute the first 5 years along with you. They may contribute around $23,000 annually for those first 5 years. Years 6-10, you stop contributing, but the lender will continue contributing around $45,000- $50,000. After 15 years the lender will get back what they contributed from the cash value and you keep the rest of the cash value and death benefit.
In this video I will illustrate a live example to show you.
