Google trends shows us an increase in the search term "who is God" during cataclysmic events and that term is gradually increasing in the last 5 year. Now, why would I write about God in a website about finances? What does God have to do with Life Insurance? Well, everything. But, this post isn't about that. Knowing your Creator and having a relationship with Him is the most important thing you could do. No matter where you are or who you are, God knows your name and He loves you. The best way to learn about God is in the Bible, but I will drop a few short videos to help you understand who God is. The real God, that is. The One who created you and me and is completely unlike anything in creation.
Keep one thing in mind: If you could fully understand who God is, He isn't much of a God, is He? If our idea of God is based on who we want Him to be or who we expect Him to be rather than who He tells us He is, then we aren't talking about the real God, are we? We're talking about a god we created in our minds. We must get to know the real God and understand who He is based on who He tells us He is.
